`Thor` star Chris Hemsworth and his Spanish actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky tied the knot over the Christmas holidays.

New York: `Thor` star Chris Hemsworth and his Spanish actress girlfriend Elsa Pataky tied the knot over the Christmas holidays.
"They were married over the holiday," the New York Daily News quoted the actor’s rep as saying.
However, the rep declined to offer any additional details of the wedding.
Pataky is best known overseas, but some fans will recognize her from her role as Maria in the 2006 horror flick ‘Snakes on a Plane’.
Hemsworth will spend part of next year filming `The Avengers` alongside Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson.
