Amitabh, Abhishek win prize at same award function

Mumbai: Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is happy that both he and his son Abhishek bagged trophies at a same award function here. Amitabh, 72, and Abhishek, 38, were both nominated at Big Star Entertainment in different categories for their movies 'Bhootnath Returns' and 'Happy New Year'.

Big B posted on Twitter about his feelings of sharing the stage with his son at the function.

"There are very few occasions in life when Father and Son get decorated on the same platform, same time, same day! A moment of pride," Amitabh tweeted.

Amitabh also posted a picture of the duo holding their trophies. Abhishek won Big Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Comedy Film ? Male for 'Happy New Year' and Amitabh won for Big Star Most Entertaining Actor in a Social Drama Film - Male for 'Bhootnath Returns'.

Amitabh has wrapped up shooting for his two upcoming films -- 'Wazir' and 'Shamitabh'.
