New Delhi, July 22: Cricket board President Jagmohan Dalmiya today met Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and briefed him on current cricket developments.
Dalmiya, who met the Prime Minister in his parliament house office, described his brief meeting as a "courtesy call" and said it was just a general discussion on cricketing matters.
"I just briefed him about what is hapenning in cricket. The team is doing well at the moment and I sought his blessings", Dalmiya told a news agency here.
He parried a question whether he discussed resumption of India-Pakistan cricketing ties which has been snapped since the Kargil conflict.
"It was a general discussion. I can't say anything more," Dalmiya said.

The board chief, who is on a two-day visit to the capital, was expected to meet top government functionaries and cricket officials before returning to Kolkata tomorrow.
