Cheryl Cole nets £220k for half-hour secret gig

London: Cheryl Cole earned 220,000 pounds for 35 minutes’ work – she secretly performed at a private gig on Saturday night.

Wearing a diamond-encrusted gold leotard, she earned 6,285pound per minute as she belted out hits including ‘Fight For This Love’ and ‘Parachute’. She performed at the ball organised by clothes giant Next at the Grosvenor hotel in aid of Breast Cancer Care just two hours after appearing on `X Factor`. "When she agreed to appear, no one knew it was going to clash with the first live night of X Factor,” the Mirror quoted a source as saying. “It was a mad rush getting her from the Xtra Factor set in West London to the venue in Central London. "But she made it on stage at the stroke of midnight and got a standing ovation at the end of her show, which was the perfect end to a rough week," the source added. ANI
