Mumbai, July 29: Preliminary investigations by probe agencies indicate that the al-Hadees outfit might be responsible for the blast in a bus in suburban Ghatkopar, that left three dead and 42 injured last night, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Chhagan Bhujbal said today. Talking to reporters here, Bhujbal said, "We think it is a new group of Lashker-e-Toiba. Within a few days, the culprits would be tracked down."

"My resignation is being demanded. If it could help in stopping the blasts, I am ready to do so. But, I also want to mention that those unable to check the blasts in Jammu and Kashmir should also step down," he said. Bhujbal said some political organisations have called a bandh tomorrow." I only want to say, we should not be indulging in politics at a time when all people have to come together to face the enemies of the country."
