Gwyneth Paltrow turns down lead roles for kids

Los Angeles: Actress Gwyneth Paltrow`s career has taken a backseat since she became a mother. She wants to focus on motherhood because she "can`t have it all".
Paltrow, 40, who is mother to Apple, 8, and Moses, 6, has taken small roles in "Iron Man" film series and television show "Glee". She says she deliberately tackles just one supporting job a year because she can`t juggle back-to-back filming along with caring for her kids, contactmusic.com reports. "I look for an interesting supporting part about once a year. That`s the most I can manage. Some women can do it and that`s fantastic, but I can`t. You make choices as a wife and mother, don`t you? You can`t have it all," said Paltrow. IANS
