‘Krrish 3’ on way to join the 200-crore club

New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan starrer, ‘Krrish 3’, which release with a bang on Diwali, is on its way to join the elite 200 crore club of films. On Friday morning, film trade expert Taran Adarsh tweeted the Box Office figures collected by the superhero flick. On day 7 of its opening, the film minted Rs 13.44 crores, thereby, making the total amount collected nationwide to Rs 166.52 crores. The film has also made a decent sum of Rs 36 crores on the foreign shores. ‘Krrish 3’ opened on a good note as it garnered a sum of Rs. 25.50 crores in India. It earned Rs. 23 crores and Rs. 24.3 respectively on the Day 2 and 3. Despite getting negative reviews from most of the film critics, people are flocking to the theatres to watch the film, possibly because of the good pre-release trade buzz. If ‘Krrish 3’ manages to make Rs 200 crores, it will be second film after ‘Chennai Express’ to earn the whopping amount in the same year.
