Actor Luke Perry is the latest celebrity to have joined the list of online death hoax. It was reported that the `Beverly Hills 90210` star died in Switzerland while snowboarding.

London: Actor Luke Perry is the latest celebrity to have joined the list of online death hoax.
It was reported that the `Beverly Hills 90210` star died in Switzerland while snowboarding. The news spread across social networking sites Facebook and Twitter like wild fire, however, it turned out to be a mere hoax, reports contactmusic.com.
According to The Celebrity Cafe, the representative said: "He`s very much alive. The last thing he`d be doing is snowboarding in Zermatt."
However this is not the first time a star has been in the middle of a hoax, the list also includes Brad Pitt, Taylor Lautner, Charlie Sheen and Owen Wilson.
