Mumbai: Writer Shagufta Rafique has almost finished the scripting of her film with Rahul Bhatt, whom she describes as "a typical hero" and says she will start rolling the camera for the project by mid of the year.
Known for writing ‘Raaz 3’ and ‘Murder 2’, Shagufta has almost "finished the scripting of my film".
"And the film will hopefully go on the floors by the mid of 2013. However, my film with Rahul Bhatt will be my second film because before this film, I may direct a film for some other banner," Shagufta said.
Shagufta says her film with Rahul will be seasoned with the flavour of the latter`s father, Mahesh Bhatt`s movies.
"I don`t want to give him a normal hero kind of a launch. He is a typical hero material so our intention is not to put him in a typical action genre," she said.
"He will be seen as a sweet and simple boy in my film, which will have the flavour of `Daddy`, `Saaransh` and other Mahesh Bhatt`s films," she said.
"The film will have the pulse of Mahesh Bhatt kind of films. I am extremely sure he will justify the role to the `T`," she added.
Rahul had made headlines when his name cropped up in connection with 2008 Mumbai terror accused David Headley and later by featuring on reality show ‘Bigg Boss 4’ and accusing his father for not treating him like a son. However, now he is being launched by his dad only.
