Ram Gopal Varma responds to Sridevi's legal notice
Bollywood's iconic beauty Sridevi, is miffed with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Reason - RGV has renamed his then named Telugu movie `Savitri` to Sridevi. Following this, she has sent a legal notice to the director for using her name without her permission.

New Delhi: Bollywood's iconic beauty Sridevi, is miffed with filmmaker Ram Gopal Varma. Reason - RGV has renamed his then named Telugu movie `Savitri` to Sridevi. Following this, she has sent a legal notice to the director for using her name without her permission.
Her husband Boney Kapoor had sent a legal notice to the director and demanded an explanation. However, RGV responded to the actress and her husband by issuing a press release about the film.
RGV's Telegu movie revolves around a 15 year-old boy who is infatuated with a 25 year-old woman. He had earlier named it as `Savitri` and reports suggest that he later renamed it to `Sridevi` which apparently angered the actress and her husband.
The renaming of the title led many people to believe that it has something to do with Sridevi's life.
