Salman Khan’s fans storm Twitter with new hashtag as Shah Rukh Khan’s latest hits silverscreen

Even as the superstars – Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan - who were once arch rivals have hugged and reconciled, their fans are yet to forget their rivalry.

Mumbai: Soon after Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ hit the silverscreen today, fans of Salman Khan took to Twitter to trend a new hashtag to show their love for their idol.

Salman fans used #EIDPeDekhengeSirfSULTAN to make it very clear that they would ONLY watch ‘Sultan’ on Eid.

Interestingly, SRK’s ‘Raees’ also releases on the same day. And the two mega-budget films starring two industry heavyweights releasing on the same day is bound to create history.

Even as the superstars who were once arch rivals have hugged and reconciled, their fans are yet to forget their rivalry.

For the uninitiated, both Salman and SRK had appealed to their fans to not put each other down and be respectful enough towards each other.

But the fans do not seem to have picked up the message quite well.
