Taylor Swift tops best dressed list

Los Angeles: Country star Taylor Swift has been named best-dressed star of 2014 by a magazine. The 24-year-old singer saw off competition from Blake Lively, Diane Kruger and Lupita Nyong'o to top the list by People magazine.

Swift has been rocking stylish look on the red carpet this year. She sported a sequinned Gucci Premiere design at the Grammys and looks cool in daily outfits.

Another star who is featured in the list, Lively, also rocks gorgeous pieces at formal events. Just like Lively, Kruger doesn't have a stylist and she sometimes asks her boyfriend Joshua Jackson for opinion when she's stuck with two choices.

Other female celebrities who make it into the list are Jennifer Lopez, Emma Stone, Jessica Alba, Emma Watson, Rihanna, Chloe Moretz and 'Mad Men' star Kiernan Shipka.

Last year's top placer Kerry Washington is not present in the list this time.
