No marriage for me as of now, says Katrina Kaif

New Delhi, Aug 07: The stunning Katrina Kaif reminds us of this beautiful line by John Keats, “A Thing of Beauty is a Joy Forever”. The angel-faced diva inspires poetry and romance. Her face can surely ‘launch a thousand ships, and burn the topless towers of Ilium.’ In an exclusive interview with Harsha Mary and Tanu Talwar of Spicezee.com, the picture perfect beauty dressed in a sleek and well fitting black business suit, talked about her ‘sexiest woman tag’, relationships, co-stars, films and much more…Spicezee: How does is it feel to be the `World’s sexiest woman`? I mean you beat Angelina Jolie.

Katrina: I do not take such things seriously. In fact I find them funny. I just smile at such polls. And the reason I don’t take them seriously is because I think that if today it’s me, next year it might be someone else. Spicezee:Tell us about your role in the film ‘Singh Is Kinng’? Katrina: Well, I play the role of a young lawyer who speaks her mind. She hates lies and hates criminals and is out to fight them all. Spicezee: After giving back-to-back hits like `Namastey London`, `Partner` and `Race`. Are you hoping high for `SIK`? Katrina: Yes, I have real high hopes for the film. I am keeping my fingers crossed. I have been praying and I just hope my hard work gets noticed and audiences like my work. Spicezee: So, is Katrina hoping high for `Singh is Kinng`? Katrina: `Singh is Kinng` is going to be great fun. We have all really worked hard. The comedy and the action are exceptionally good, Music fits the theme. I believe it’s going to be Aneez’s best film. I have prayed, hoped and wished that the audience love what they see.Spicezee: You have worked really hard on your Hindi. In `Singh is Kinng` we hear you are speaking Punjabi as well? Katrina: Oh no, I am very lucky this time! Aneez (Director) has played it safe. I don’t really have to speak in Punjabi, my dialogues are mostly in English and Hindi. The only Punjabi I speak for the movie is `Sat-Sri-Akaal`. And yes, I have really worked hard on my Hindi and hopefully I am getting it right. Spicezee: Your films with Salman have done fairly well but there are not many. So, when do we see you sharing screen space with the actor next? Katrina: Well, that should happen very soon. The two of us are coming together in Subhash Ghai’s next film ‘Yuvraj’ and the music of the film should be out by the end of this year. Spicezee: You have an amazing chemistry with Akshay Kumar, what is the secret behind this? Katrina: I believe that chemistry depends on what the script allows. And as you work more with one actor, you develop a comfort zone and then comfort shows on screen. This is my fourth film with Akki and I enjoy working with him as I know much about him now. Spicezee: Who is your favourite actress in B-town and why? Katrina: I just love Kajol. I like the fact that she speaks her mind and does what she feels. I really think she is very genuine.
Spicezee: Who is your favourite co-star? Katrina: I don’t have any favourites. I just do my films and during the course of a film, you get along with some people that’s about it.
Spicezee: Replacing Aishwarya you are the new Nakshatra girl. How do you feel bagging some of the most prestigious deals?
Katrina: I don’t think that actors choose brands. In fact, it’s the other way round. I think that brands decide who fits their image right. They do a lot of research and then choose. They conduct polls and lots of other stuff goes into their decisions. So I don’t think that I have snatched anything from anyone but just accepted what has come my way.

Spicezee: There is a lot of speculation that you are being cast against Salman in London Dreams. Are you doing the film? Katrina: No, I am not in the film.

Spicezee: You are the reigning queen of Bollywood? What’s next any marriage plans? Katrina: No, I am not even thinking of marriage as of now. Not any time soon at least. I just want to focus all my attention on my career as of now.

Spicezee: You have a crazy fan following, anything in particular that you remember? Katrina: For me every interaction I have with my fans is memorable. They make you feel important and its good fun. Spicezee: What’s the best compliment you have received so far? Katrina: You’re sweet, cute, very pretty, nothing in particular. Everyone looks at you differently, for some I am gorgeous and just pretty or cute for the rest. For everyone `some one` is the most beautiful person in the world. As they say `Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder`. Spicezee: When will we get to see you in Salman’s `Dus Ka Dum`? Katrina: Well, you will just have to wait and watch for it, may be you will be pleasantly surprised.
