Washington, Mar 18: President George W Bush reached out to allies Britain, Spain, Australia, Bulgaria and Israel by telephone as US-led military action against Iraq loomed, a White House spokesman said. Bush consulted prime ministers Tony Blair of Britain, Jose Maria Aznar of Spain and John Howard of Australia, with whom he also spoke on Sunday, said national security council spokesman Sean Mccormack. The US leader also spoke to Bulgarian Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg and Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, the spokesman said.
