Mumbai, Jan 27: UTI Bank and Andhra Bank have entered into an agreement for sharing ATMs in the country. "Having invested in building a sizeable ATM network in the country, our bank is keen to ensure wider utilisation of the network. This arrangement is a major step in that direction," UTI Bank chairman and managing director P J Nayak said in a release.
Andhra Bank executive Director Balakrishnan said the tie-up has paved the way for both banks to increase the number of delivery channels substantially and to provide value added services to customers across the country." UTI Bank has a network of 230 branches and extension counters and over 1,130 ATMs spread across 106 cities and towns.
Andhra Bank has a presence in 21 states and 2 union territories with 1,124 branches, 126 extension counters, 44 satellite offices and 256 ATMs catering to the banking needs of around 105 lakh customers.
