`Homeland` relocates production from Israel over Syria concern

Los Angeles: The filming of some scenes for the third season of `Homeland`, which were planned to take place in Israel, is now moved to Morocco over safety concern.
The escalating tension in the Middle East amid talks of a possible US military strike on Syria is the reason behind relocating the production, reported Ace Showbiz. `Homeland` has previously filmed some parts of the first two seasons in Tel Aviv as well as Barta`a, a small town that straddles the Green Line. The choice of Morocco as the alternative place does not come as surprise since FX`s pilot `Tyrant`, from `Homeland` creators Howard Gordon and Gideon Raff, will also shoot there. `Homeland` season 3 will be on air from September 29.
