Adrien Brody loses ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ role to Eric Bana

London: Aussie actor Eric Bana was apparently lucky that he landed the lead role in the film ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’, for the original novel’s author had wanted American actor Adrien Brody to play the part.Audrey Niffenegger, the writer of the best-selling book on which the hit film is based, admits that she had thought Bana, 41, was not right for the role, and that 36-year-old Brody would be perfect for it.

Niffenegger, 46, has also revealed she was so terrified about seeing her tale on the big screen that she has so far refused to watch it. “Once I signed away the rights, I just had to let go. Once you sign on the dotted line, you have no control... I decided it would probably be best if I just (didn’t see it),” the Daily Express quoted her as saying. ANI
