Patna, Feb 27: A Patna court today sent seven extremists belonging to the banned Maoist Communist Centre (Mcc), including four Maoist rebels of Nepal, and their harbourer to judicial custody in connection with many criminal cases registered against them. Chief Judicial Magistrate Santosh Kumar Srivastava sent them to judicial custody in the high-security Beur Jail on the outskirts of the state capital here after their production, police said.

The extremists were taken into custody by police during raids at a computer training Centre here on Tuesday night.

Those sent to Beur Jail include MCC commander-in-chief of Bihar Pramod Mishra's son, Subhash Mishra alias Suchit Mishra, his brother-in-law, Kamal Nayan, a self-styled area commander of the outfit, Jeetan Marandi, and four Nepalese Maoist rebels--Binod Thapa, Amar Karki, Amit Tamang and Rohit Kumar alias Dipak Karki and their Harbourer Kishore, police added.
