New Delhi: The controversial subject of 2016-- 'Udta Punjab', hogged all the limelight with its ongoing struggle for a cut-free release.
One of the producers, Anurag Kahsyap, decided to fight the censor board when the CBFC told the makers to cut 89 scenes from the movie starring Shahid Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Diljit Dosanjh.
However, the movie was later passed by the Bombay HC with one cut and will be releasing on June 17.
Unfortunately, adding to the row, the entire movie was leaked online two days before the release. Speaking over the same issue, Anurag posted a message for fans on Facebook, asking them to wait until the movie is released to decide whether to pay for it or not.
