Arjun Kapoor does an Aamir Khan, learns Bhojpuri – Here’s why

Arjun Kapoor is on board Mohit Suri’s adaptation of ‘Half Girlfriend’.

Mumbai: Arjun Kapoor is gearing up to play the male lead in Mohit Suri’s ‘Half Girlfriend’, an adaptation of Chetan Bhagat’s namesake novel.

And to befit the character, Arjun has been taking Bhojpuri lessons to get the accent and vocabulary right just like Aamir Khan, who worked on the language before shooting for ‘PK’.

A report in Mumbai Mirror suggests that Arjun is on board the film and will romance Shraddha Kapoor for the first time on screen.

We recently saw Ranveer Singh perfect the Marathi accent for ‘Bajirao Mastani’. These days, actors take what it takes to get into the skin of the character. And Arjun Kapoor is doing exactly that.
