Chalk will play the DC character in the Fox drama series, appearing in the penultimate episode of the first season and possibly returning in season two, reported Deadline.

Lucius Fox appears in the Batman comics as Bruce Wayne's business manager and the CEO of Wayne Enterprises. He supposedly unknowingly runs the business interests that supply the superhero's equipment needs.

Morgan Freeman portrayed the role in Christopher Nolan's 'Dark Knight' trilogy.

Chalk has appeared on Broadway and most recently starred on HBO's 'The Newsroom'.
