Actor Robin Williams` death has been officially ruled a suicide, the Marin County authorities said in a statement on Friday.

California: Actor Robin Williams` death has been officially ruled a suicide, the Marin County authorities said in a statement on Friday.
The 63-year-old Williams, whose body was found at his home in Tiburon in the San Francisco Bay area, on Aug. 11, died of asphyxia due to hanging, the Marin County Sheriff`s Office said in a statement. Police had said soon after his body was discovered that they suspected his death was a suicide.
