Is 'Shuddhi' really happening?

New Delhi: Bollywood's most sought-after filmmakers Karan Johar had long back announced about a project which has been hanging in oblivion now. The film titled 'Shuddhi', which was originally meant to star B-Town Greek God Hrithik Roshan and the very glamourous Kareena Kapoor Khan got stalled as the two quit the project.

Eventually, it was rumoured that superstar Salman Khan might step in. Just before that names such as Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone had also been floating. However, each rumour was put to rest when a few months back KJo announced that 'Shuddhi' will be made with actors Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.

While, we thought all is well, as per Delhi Times report, it now seems that there is no latest development regarding the project. The report states that the film might actually be shelved as of now. However, no official word has been put forth by the makers or by the actors as yet.
