Jacqueline Fernandez as Sangeeta Bijlani in Azharuddin biopic?

New Delhi: The latest 'it' girl in Bollywood, Jacqueline Fernandez has all the reasons to feel happy and excited. Rumour mills are rife that this Sri Lankan beauty might be seen playing former model turned actress Sangeeta Bijlani in cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin's biopic.

According to a leading daily, the 'Kick' actress was approached after Kareena Kapoor Khan walked out of the project, citing date issues. Bebo reportedly chose 'Udta Punjab' instead of Azhar biopic, which has now safely landed into Jacqueline's kitty.

A film based on Indian cricketer's life features Emraan Hashmi in the lead, where Prach Desai will reportedly play his first wife.

However, no official statement has been made either by the makers or by the actress as yet.
