`Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham` turns 13

New Delhi: December 14, 2001 witnessed one of the greatest family sagas of contemporary cinema – `Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham`.

Karan Johar's - family drama was a larger than feature film complete with some of Bollywood's greatest actors in it.

`K3G` which saw real life couple Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Hrithik Roshan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor in one frame has clocked in 13 years today.

Filmmaker Karan who is known for making some of the greatest romantic hits and family picture was nostalgic and shared his thoughts on Twitter to mark the 13th year of `K3G`.

The film went on to become the second highest grosser of 2001 domestically, earning Rs 470 million in India.
