Karachi: `Phantom` has got itself into another problem, as Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) has decided to take legal action against the film's producers claiming that misrepresentation of the medical group can put the lives of their aid workers deployed in conflict zones at risk.

According to sources, MSF said it had not been consulted about the content of the film and was not associated with it in any way.

Pointing out that actress Katrina Kaif, who plays an MSF worker and is using guns in various scenes of the film, the humanitarian agency said they have contacted the production team of the film and have informed them about taking legal action to correct this dangerous misrepresentation of their organisation and its work.

MSF said it has a strict no guns policy at all of its clinics, and does not employ armed guards, the Dawn reported.

The film's director Kabir Khan and producers Sajid Nadiadwala and Siddharth Roy Kapur have not commented as yet on this development.
