Nimrat Kaur to romance Akshay Kumar in 'Airlift'?

New Delhi: While actress Nimrat Kaur is these days busy with American television series 'Homeland', Bollywood has certainly not taken a backseat for the actress. If reports are to be believed, 'The Lunchbox' actress will soon be seen romancing none other than the action hero Akshay Kumar in upcoming film 'Airlift'.

According to reports, Nimrat will be playing Akshay's wife in the action-drama. The makers reportedly wanted a woman with a strong personality for the role and Nimrat's performance in her previous film 'The Lunchbox' is quite a proof of it.

Directed by Raja Krishna Menon, 'Airlift' is about a business tycoon, who aids the world's biggest human evacuation. It has been produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series along with Cape of Good Films, Crouching Tigers and Emmay Entertainment.

The movie, which will be shot mainly in the Middle East is all set to go on floors in May next year.
