Prachi Desai set to play Azharuddin's first wife on screen?

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Prachi Desai is all set to sizzle on the silver screens once again. 

After 'Bhaag Milkha Bhaag' and 'Mary Kom', now the buzz has it that a biopic on ace cricketer Mohammad Azharuddin is in the pipeline.

Actor Emraan Hashmi, reportedly has been roped in for the lead role. Reports further suggest that it is actress Prachi Desai, who will be seen  playing Azharuddin's first wife, Naureen in the film.

Naureen and Azharuddin tied the knot in 1987 later got divorced in 1996, leading to the cricketer's second marriage with former beauty queen and actress Sangeeta Bijlani.

The grapevine also has it that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been finalised for the role of Sangeeta, reportedly.

Biopics have been the top choice of B-Town actors this year. Let's see if this one gets a thumbs up from the audiences!
