Ranbir, Anushka begin `Bombay Velvet` promotions!

New Delhi: The filmmakers of the much awaited film of Ranbir Kapoor - Bombay Velvet - have marked May 15 for its release.

With just less than three weeks away for the film to hit the theatres, the lead couple - Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma - have kickstarted film promotions in full swing.

Filmmaker Karan Johar, who will also be seen in the film, took to Twitter to announce it on Twitter

The movie is highly awaited as Ranbir will be seen in a full-fledged role on-screen after a long break. Although he was seen in `Roy`,  but his role was brief.

Based on Gyan Prakash's book ‘Mumbai Fables’, ‘Bombay Velvet’ set in early 1960's , will see Ranbir as a street fighter and Anushka as a Jazz singer.
