Kelly Clarkson releases new single

Los Angeles: Singer Kelly Clarkson has finally released her comeback single "Heartbeat Song". After being previewed in a cute teaser starring the singer's daughter River Rose, the track was released.

"Heartbeat Song" is a radio-friendly, upbeat pop-rock song that has the potential to be a hit. "This is my heartbeat song and I'm gonna play it/Been so long, I forgot how to turn it up, up, up, up all night long," she sings.

The song was penned by Clarkson along with Kara DioGuardi and Jason Evigan. It serves as the first offering off the former "American Idol" winner's yet-to-be-titled new album that's scheduled to come out later this year.
