Lucknow, Sept 23: In a late night reshuffle in the police set up, Uttar Pradesh government transferred 16 senior IPS officers, including police chiefs of nine districts. Commandant, 42nd Battalion, Allahabad, Badri Prasad Singh, will be the new SSP of Meerut, in place of Mukul Goyal while Commandent 12th Battalion, Fatehpur, Ram Singh, will be the new SP of Fatehpur, an official release said here. SP Maharajganj, Kishan Mohan Pandey, will be the SP, Kheri, replacing Rama Nand, who has been put on waiting list, the release said.
SP, Power Corporation, Lucknow, Sushil Kumar Singh, goes to Shahjahanpur in the same capacity while R K Tripathi, who was awaiting posting, has been sent to Jalaun as SP, it said, adding SP, special enquiry cell, Lucknow, Abhai Kumar Prasad will be the new SP, Azamagarh. The release said SP, Eow, Kanpur, Arun Kumar has been posted to Ballia and A K Tyagi, awaiting posting, has been made the new SP of Unnao. Bureau Report
