BJP MLA Gaur issued show cause notice
Bhopal, Nov 15: The leader of opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Babulal Gaur today said a show cause notice had been issued to BJP MLA Ajay Bishnoi for staging a walk-out in the house on Wednesday.
Bhopal, Nov 15: The leader of opposition in Madhya Pradesh Assembly Babulal Gaur today said a show cause notice had been issued to BJP MLA Ajay Bishnoi for staging a walk-out in the house on Wednesday.
The leader of opposition told a news agency here today that the notice had been sent by fax and courier to Bishnoi's residence in Jabalpur. Gaur said what Bishnoi had done on that day amounted to party indiscipline for which his explanation had been sought.
He said that another BJP MLA, Harinderjeet Singh Babboo who too had walked out with Bishnoi was not served the show cause notice as he had later clarified that his walkout was against the government. Bishnoi has been given seven days' time to reply to the show cause notice, Gaur said.
The two BJP members had walked out of the house protesting what they described as lack of cooperation from the leader of opposition, Babulal Gaur. The incident took place when the two were trying to raise the issue of an epidemic spreading in Jabalpur due to collection of garbage.
