Top priority to be given to sugar cane farmers: UP CM

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, Ram Prakash Gupta, said on Wednesday that top priority would be accorded to the interests of sugar cane farmers and appealed to the sugar mill owners to pay the dues to the cane growers at the earliest.

“The government, will also establish proper coordination between the farmers and sugar mill owners so that their interests were protected mutually,” Gupta told a ten-member delegation of the UP Sugar Mills Association in Lucknow.
