Is Honeypreet in Nepal? Hunt for Gurmeet Ram Rahim's 'daughter' intensifies

Honeypreet Insan, the adopted daughter of rape convict Dera Sacha Sauda chief, who has been at large ever since Gurmeet Ram Rahim's sentencing took place, has been reportedly spotted in Nepal.

New Delhi: Honeypreet Insan, who has been at large ever since Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim's sentencing took place, has been reportedly spotted in Nepal. 

As per media reports, a Nepalese policeman spotted Honeypreet, the adopted daughter of rape convict Dera Sacha Sauda chief, inside a car with three others in Pokhara in Nepal last week. 

Meanwhile, the Haryana and Nepal police have launched a massive manhunt to trace her since Ram Rahim's sentencing on August 28.

Honeypreet has been booked for inciting the massive riots in Haryana's Panchkula and Sirsa districts on August 25. 

She tops the most wanted 43-member list released by Haryana Police for triggering mob violence and riots in Haryana and is believed to have changed her appearance to deceive police and other agencies.  

Top Dera aide Pradeep Goyal alias Vicky, who was arrested from Udaipur on Saturday, revealed to the police during his interrogation that Honeypreet had fled to Nepal.

On August 25, a CBI special court held self-styled godman Gurmeet Ram Rahim, also the lead actor of MSG film franchise, guilty of raping two 'sadhvis' or female followers 15 years ago inside the Dera premises. He was later sentenced to 20 years in prison.

Immediately after the conviction, deadly riots took place in Panchkula and surrounding areas, that at least 38 and injuring over 250 people.

The mob, consisting of Dera followers, set scores of vehicles, including police and fire brigades, on fire.
