Jind: A video of a horse being mercilessly beaten and strangled to death has gone viral on social media.
The shameful incident happened near Gohana Road in Haryana's Jind area on Tuesday.
Reports say that 10 people have been booked for the inhuman act.
The video shows some men hitting the horse with sticks and strangling it to death.
The horse was tied with ropes and sticks, while some men were seen pulling it from all directions.
ASI Rajinder Kumar and Special Protection Officer Subhash were also seen helping the men. The two cops were transferred and an inquiry has been initiated against them.
