Mumbai: The item number fever has stung Bollywood quite deeply it seems. And filmmakers are leaving no stone unturned in a bid to make their song a sizzling chartbuster. A-list actors including Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are quite open to be crowned item boys and in such a scenario how can we expect B-town hotties to let an item number offer just go by!
After Malaika `Munni` Arora Khan and Katrina `Sheila` Kaif, Priyanka Chopra is all set to let her hair down for a scorching number in `Tezz` to be composed by hit music director jodi of `Dabangg` fame, Sajid-Wajid.
Piggy Chops had earlier refrained from doing item numbers- an exception being a number with Shah Rukh Khan in `Billu`. But now the hottie seems to have re-written her resolution.
Talking to a daily, a source revealed, “She will soon hear the song. Ratan Jain, the producer has spoken to her secretary and Priyanka has shown keen interest in the item song as well.”
“Priyanka’s dance in `Tezz` will be as sexy as Malaika Arora Khan’s Munni act in Dabangg and Katrina Kaif’s Sheila in Tees Maar Khan,” the source added.
The film will be directed by Priyadarshan and will have Anil Kapoor, Ajay Devgan and Kangna playing central roles.
