England bowled with a lot of planning and discipline. Moeen Ali led his boys well and rotated his bowlers smartly. Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid did a great job to stifle the Pakistan batters while the pacers were also brilliant. The tourists will be backing themselves to chase down this total and make it 3-1. Once again the batting of Pakistan was all about the opening partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. They added 97 runs but the kind of impetus they needed never came. England bowled with a lot of planning and discipline. Moeen Ali led his boys well and rotated his bowlers smartly. Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid did a great job to stifle the Pakistan batters while the pacers were also brilliant. The tourists will be backing themselves to chase down this total and make it 3-1. Let's see if they succeed.
Once again the batting of Pakistan was all about the opening partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. They added 97 runs but the kind of impetus they needed never came. It was a laboured knock from Mohammad Rizwan, especially in the second half of the innings and despite his strike rate being 131.34, the hosts didn't benefit much.Â
A couple of biggies from Asif Ali in the last over and Pakistan have managed to post a decent total on the board. Considering that it's the same pitch where Pakistan chased down a target of 200 without breaking a sweat, the target looks below par at this stage. Has the nature of the pitch changed? Did it become slow in the second half? We will find out in the second innings.

England bowled with a lot of planning and discipline. Moeen Ali led his boys well and rotated his bowlers smartly. Liam Dawson and Adil Rashid did a great job to stifle the Pakistan batters while the pacers were also brilliant. The tourists will be backing themselves to chase down this total and make it 3-1. Let's see if they succeed.
Once again the batting of Pakistan was all about the opening partnership between Mohammad Rizwan and Babar Azam. They added 97 runs but the kind of impetus they needed never came. It was a laboured knock from Mohammad Rizwan, especially in the second half of the innings and despite his strike rate being 131.34, the hosts didn't benefit much.Â
A couple of biggies from Asif Ali in the last over and Pakistan have managed to post a decent total on the board. Considering that it's the same pitch where Pakistan chased down a target of 200 without breaking a sweat, the target looks below par at this stage. Has the nature of the pitch changed?
