नई दिल्ली: दिग्गज अभिनेता शशि कपूर ने सोमवार शाम को आखिरी सांस ली. वह 79 साल के थे और काफी वक्त से किडनी की बीमारी से जूझ रहे थे. इसके चलते उन्हें कोकिलाबेन अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया था, जहां उन्होंने 4 दिसंबर को आखिरी सांस ली. शशि कपूर के निधन की खबर मिलते ही पूरे बॉलीवुड में शोक की लहर फैल गई और अमिताभ बच्चन, काजोल, रानी मुखर्जी समेत बॉलीवुड के कई सितारे मंगलवार रात को उनके घर पंहुचे.
उनके निधन की खबर केवल देश ही नहीं बल्कि विदेश के लिए भी एक समाचार था और इस मौके पर बीबीसी ने भी उन्हें श्रद्धांजलि दी थी जिसका वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर काफी तेजी से वायरल हो रहा है. इस वीडियो में एंकर शशि कपूर को श्रद्धांजलि दे रहा है लेकिन उसके बाद जो वीडियो क्लिप चलता है उसमें अमिताभ बच्चन और ऋषि कपूर की फुटेज नजर आती है. जिसके बाद सोशल मीडिया पर ट्रोलर्स बीबीसी को ट्रोल करने लगते हैं.

हालांकि, बीबीसी द्वारा हुई इस गल्ति के लिए उन्होंने माफी मांग ली है. इससे पहले सोमवार को एक नेशनल न्यूज चैनल ने शशि कपूर के निधन पर कांग्रेस नेता शशि थरूर को श्रद्धांजलि देते हुए ट्वीट कर दिया था.

बता दें, शशि कपूर के निधन के साथ ही बॉलीवुड में एक युग का अंत हो गया है. शशि कपूर का जन्म 18 मार्च 1938 को कोलकाता में हुआ था. शशि 70 व 80 के दशक के शुरुआती सालों में रोमांटिक आईकॉन के रूप में उभरे थे. आज मुंबई के संताक्रूज संस्कार मैदान में उन्हें अंतिम विदाई दी गई. इस दौरान वहां बॉलीवुड के कई सितारे शामिल रहे.
