चुनाव आयोग के मुताबिक विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण में दोपहर 3:10 बजे तक असम में 57.89 प्रतिशत और पश्चिम बंगाल में 60.97 प्रतिशत मतदान हुए हैं. बता दें कि पश्चिम बंगाल के 4 जिलों को 30 विधान सभा सीटों और असम के 13 जिलों की 39 विधान सभा सीटों पर वोटिंग जारी है.

मतदान शुरू होने से पहले तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) के एक कार्यकर्ता की पश्चिम बंगाल के पश्चिमी मेदिनीपुर जिले में कथित रूप से हत्या कर दी गई. 48 साल के उत्तम डोलुई केशरपुर इलाके के हरिहरपुर के एक स्थानीय क्लब में थे, तभी 10-15 अज्ञात लोगों ने उन पर धारदार हथियार से हमला कर दिया. अस्पताल ले जाते हुए रास्ते में उनकी मौत हो गई.

West Bengal Assembly Election 2021, 2nd Phase of Voting Live Updates: देबरा विधान सभा सीट से बीजेपी उम्मीदवार भारती घोष ने तृणमूल कांग्रेस (TMC) पर वोटर्स को धमकाने का आरोप लगाया है. भारती घोष ने कहा, 'नोआपारा में बूथ नंबर 22 पर मेरे पोलिंग एजेंट को टीएमसी के 150 गुंडों ने घेर लिया. मुझे मतदान केंद्र में प्रवेश करने की अनुमति नहीं दी गई. वहीं बरौनिया में मतदाताओं को धमकाया जा रहा है और टीएमसी का चुनाव चिन्ह दिखाया जा रहा है.'

Assam Assembly Election 2021, 2nd Phase of Voting Live Updates: असम विधानसभा चुनाव के दूसरे चरण के लिए मतदान गुरुवार सुबह 7 बजे से शाम 6 बजे तक होगा. दूसरे चरण में 13 जिलों की 39 सीटों पर 345 प्रत्याशी मैदान में हैं, जिसमें से 26 महिलाएं हैं. मतदान के लिए 73, 44,631 मतदाता हैं. इनमें 37,34,537 पुरुष और 36,09,959 महिलाएं हैं, जबकि 135 थर्ड जेंडर के मतदाता हैं. चुनाव आयोग ने दूसरे चरण के चुनाव के लिए 10,592 मतदान केंद्र बनाए हैं.
