Bharti Telenet, Haryana, basic operators under TouchTel brand of telephone services for the circle, on Friday signed an interconnect agreement with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd.
The agreement would allow seamless routing of traffic between TouchTel and the countrywide network of BSNL, a company release said in New Delhi.
"The signing of interconnect agreement therefore enables Bharti Telenet Ltd to pass calls made from other networks over its network to the BSNL network and vice-versa based on a pre-determined revenue sharing arrangement," it said.
Commenting on the signing of the agreement Sumanjit Chaudhry, CEO of Bharti Telenet, Haryana said, "The agreement marks a crucial step in the run up to full-fledged services operations. With this agreement signed, the people of Haryana can now look forward to a world class telephone service experience from TouchTel."
