Chandigarh, June 07: Six columns of CRPF are being
rushed to Haryana to ensure free, smooth and safe movement of army vehicles and personnel in the wake of road blockades by protesting BKU farmers, an official spokesman said here today.

One column has already arrived in Rohtak and five more
will reach soon, he said.

The para-troopers will clear blockades by farmers on
strategically sensitive and important roads, the spokesman
said, adding they will also keep vigil on defence installations and vulnerable areas.

The spokesman said the farmers, whose stir entered the
19th day today, should lift the blockades when the tension was soaring on the Indo-Pak border.
