Washington, Jan 18: Australian pop sensation Kylie Minogue, American singer Moby, and former ‘Beatle’ Sir Paul McCartney are the latest stars to join the celebrity brigade who have all given an original canvas of their artwork in charity to raise funds for London's Great Ormond Street Hospital.
Other celebs who are taking part in the art extravaganza, entitled ‘The Alive and Well Dog Project’, include Damien Hirst, football legend Pele, Ricky Gervais, and British actor Keith Allen.
Some of the canvases, which are to be exhibited at The Hospital Gallery at Great Ormond Street from January 29 to February 7, are expected to raise thousands of pounds, reports Tittle-Tattle.
The auction will be hosted by Olly Barker, director of contemporary art at famous London auction house Sotheby's, at The Hospital Gallery on January 31, and canvases not sold on the night can be bid on in the exhibition.
A book of the project will also be produced, but only 600 copies will be sold.
