Chandigarh, Apr 21: It is not the run-of-the-mill stuff from Bollywood but a movie which claims to "boost" memory of the viewers.
"The movie - Yaad Rakhenge Aap - (you will remember) aims at boosting the memory of the viewers and will render a better understanding of the memory and its principles," says Biswaroop Roy Chowdhury, the brain-behind the concept of this movie, who also plays the lead role in the film opposite Sonali Goswami.
Chowdhury claims after watching the movie, which will be released throughout the country by June end, "the movie will help the audience to enhance their learning skills of vocabulary, memorising lists including shopping list, remembering the calendar of 2005, 2006 and 2007 and memorising GK".
Asked to elaborate on the concept of the movie, Chowdhury, who is engineer by profession and has authored many books on improving memory, says "generally, people use audio/ear memory (hearing sense), which is the inferior memory. For example, we learn at schools by listening to what our teachers say or dictate or by reading or writing. This movie teaches how by using the eye memory which is the superior memory, we can memorise and recall with speed and retain for longer periods of time".
The movie will also feature well-known Ayesha Jhulka, Goofi Paintal and Gajendra Chauhan.
