Special polling stations for Kupwara migrants

Srinagar, Sept 10: Special polling stations will be set up at Delhi, Jammu and Udhampur for migrants of Kupwara district that goes to the polls in the first of the four- phased elections to the Jammu and Kashmir assembly.

district that goes to the polls in the first of the four-
phased elections to the Jammu and Kashmir assembly.

In New Delhi, special polling stations will be set up at
J and K house and Tis Hazari, district election officer,
Kupwara, said.

The polling stations in Jammu will be at the Government
Women's College, Gandhinagar, Directorate of Statistics and
Evaluation, Janipura, Directorate of Education Accountancy
Training Institute, Muthi, Community Hall, Canal Road,
Directorate of Rural Development, Horticulture Department,
Government Higher Secondary School for Migrants, Nagrota,
Government High School, Purkhoo and Government High School,
Mishriwala.

A special polling station will also be set up at the
Battal Balian migrant camp in Udhampur.

The arrangement is for migrants belonging to the Lolab,
Karnah, Handwara, Kupwara and Langate constituencies of
Kupwara.
