Bullock and Ryan Reynolds were wary of working together

London: `Speed` star Sandra Bullock has revealed that she was initially wary of working with best friend Ryan Reynolds in romantic comedy `Th Proposal`.The 45-year-old actress plays the character of Margaret Tate, the hard-nosed editor, who drives her assistant (Ryan Reynolds) to marry her so she can avoid deportation.

Reynolds, who is married to actress Scarlett Johansson, has been friends with Bullock for last nine years but it for the first time that they worked together, Female First reported. "The first day we got a little worried it wouldn`t work, but thankfully each day just got better and better. We just sort of relaxed and concentrated on the work, because Ryan and I work the same way and we worry the same way. "We stress out, we want the scene to be better, we work on the weekends. And if you do comedy and you fail, there is no-one there to help. No music, no editing," Bullock said. The actress is also happy that the 32-year-old Canadian actor is now getting to play lead roles in Hollywood. "I was so happy to go to work with Ryan, and he is an amazing man. I am so glad he gets to be the leading man now." Bureau Report
