Sydney: Former Australian wicketkeeper Adam Gilchrist has said that one day cricket is on a downward slide and may soon become obsolete. Gilchrist believes that ODI cricket has been losing its appeal in Australia after the introduction and subsequent success of the Twenty 20 format. The former wicketkeeper-batsman believes that ODI cricket may not last after the 2015 World Cup slated to be played in Australia and New Zealand.
