Cyclone Mandous: IMD predicts heavy rainfall over Bengaluru and other districts of Karnataka

Cyclone Mandous: Due to Cyclone 'Mandous', Bengaluru will receive rain till December 12.

Tamil Nadu Mandous Cyclone:  The IMD warned the state of Tamil Nadu of heavy rainfall as cyclonic storm 'Mandous' over the Bay of Bengal crossed the coast between Puducherry and Sriharikota in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh on midnight of December 9, 2022.

Cyclone Mandous moved west-northwestwards and intensified further gradually into a Cyclonic Storm and cross north Tamilnadu, Puducherry, and adjoining south Andhra Pradesh coast between Puducherry and Sriharikota around 10th December.

IMD predicted that under the influence of Western disturbance as a cyclonic circulation over north Pakistan and neighbourhood in lower and middle tropospheric levels, isolated to scattered light rainfall/snowfall is very likely over Jammu and Kashmir during 11th-12th December.
