New Delhi: The Election Commission of India (ECI) is set to announce the results for the Punjab Assembly Elections 2022 on Thursday (March 10)
The counting of votes will begin by the Election Commission of India at 8 am and the postal ballots will be counted first and then the votes polled in the EVMs will be taken up.

Election Commission will start releasing result trends from 8 am onwards on its website - https://eci.gov.in/ and app
The results for all the 117 Assembly constituencies spread across Punjab will be announced tomorrow.
As Zee News Exit polls, AAP is likely to get 52-61 seats this time and emerge as the single biggest party in the state
While the second biggest party in the northern state is likely to be Congress with 26-33 seats followed by a marginally lower figure by Shiromani Akali Dal with 24-32 seats.
The northern state went to polling in a single phase on February 20.
Punjab recorded an average voter turnout of 65.50 per cent on Sunday (Feb 20), which is lower as compared to voter turnout in 2017 when it was over 77 per cent.
According to the Election Commission of India (ECI)’s data, Mansa recorded the highest voter turnout with 77.21 per cent followed by Sri Muktsar sahib with 74.12 per cent.
