Bahraich Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 80 Lok Sabha constituencies in Uttar Pradesh state. This constituency is reserved for the candidates belonging to the Scheduled Tribes. 

Bahraich registered 57.16 percent voter turnout in 2019, a gain of 0.14 percent. The total number of electors in the constituency is 1729377 while the total voter turnout is 988452. While in 2014, the constituency registered 57.02 percent voter turnout. The total number of electors in the constituency was 1638497 while the total voter's turnout was 934326.

Akshaibar Lal of Bharatiya Janata Party, Shabbir Balmiki of Samajwadi Party and Savitri Bai Phoole of Indian National Congress are a few prominent candidates contesting for general elections 2019 from Bahraich Lok Sabha Constituency of Uttar Pradesh.

The election here was conducted on May 6, 2019, as per the Phase V schedule announced by the Election Commission of India. The results would be declared on May 23.

Sadhavi Savitri Bai Phule is the sitting Member of Parliament from this constituency. Phule had contested and won the seat on BJP ticket. However, in March 2019, she joined the Congress party.

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Phule received 4,32,392 votes and defeated Samajwadi Party candidate Shabbir Ahmad who got 3,36,747 votes.
