INDORE: In an incident, which is likely to leave the Congress red-faced, a video of one of its MLAs from Madhya Pradesh has gone viral on social media in which he can be seen snubbing his own party.
In the viral video clip, Congress MLA Jitu Patwari can be heard saying, ''Mera khayal rakhna, meri izzat rakhna, party gayi tel lene (Dump the party and vote for me and save my reputation)."
Patwari reportedly said this while campaigning in Indore for the upcoming assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.

Patwari made these remarks while interacting with the voters during a door-to-door campaigning in the area.
Interestingly, Patwari is also the Madhya Pradesh Congress working president and a sitting MLA.
The ruling BJP has taken a dig at the main opposition party in the state and questioned the remarks of the Congress MLA.
Sources in the Congress said the party may take action against Patwari for making embarrassing remarks.
A day earlier, senior Congress leader Salman Khurshid had said that it would be difficult for his party to win on its own in the 2019 General Elections.
